About the event
Longchenpa (1308-1364) was among the greatest masters the Nyingma tradition has ever produced. In his text known as Chöying Dzöd, the Precious Treasury of the Basic Space of Phenomena, he drew together more than six hundred years of Nyingma wisdom into a single masterwork. At its heart, Chöying Dzöd is a teaching on trekchö, or breakthrough: the Dzogchen practice in which delusion is cut through entirely and the primordially pure nature of mind is laid bare. Not approached gradually or worked toward over time, but recognized directly, bringing the practitioner to effortless liberation. This is the pinnacle of what the Great Perfection offers.
